The following is issued on behalf of the Goverment of Macau Special Administrative Region of the People´s Republic of China:

The Central Government of China is to present to the MSAR a special “ Lotus Flower” as a gift. The presentation will take place at 11:55 AM on December 20, 1999 at the new garden next to the Forum, between Av. Marciano Baptista e R. de Luis Gonzaga Gomes. Media are welcome to cover the event

Registration and enquiries should be made at the Press and Broadcast Center on the 8th floor of the Zhu Kuan Building, Av. Xian Xinghai, not later than 8:00 PM on 18th December.

Due to the limitated space, number of media organizations will be restricted. Selected media organizations will be notified.
