Reception and official dinner on the riverbank
Menu of the Offcial Banquet
The temporary structure for the official banquet was prefabricated in France. Work on the tent hall began in October. It is located on the New Land Reclamation Area (NAPE) opposite the Cultural Centre and alongside Avenida Dr. Sun Yat Sen.
The pavilion is six metres high and covers 6,600 square metres including reception areas, VIP rooms, kitchens and support areas as well as the dining hall which will seat 2,500 guests.
Prior to the official dinner, there will be a cocktail reception for guests along the new waterfront garden promenade, stretching from the Statue of Kun Iam to the Cultural Centre. During the reception there will be an open-air show including fireworks.
